"Edward" is a big sturdy boy with lots of
love to share. He has been vet checked and is
healthy. He does tend to prefer a soft diet and
would need some coaxing to get him on pellets.
Foster family is working on this. Edward has a
few tricks that he likes to perform for you, he
does a ballerina, a dog and an eagle. He does
talk a bit and loves to spend time out of his
cage. He is a great companion.

"Vinnie" is a very shy guy however in the
right hands, he will make someone a very nice
companion. He is not loud as most Umbrellas are.
He has been vet checked and is healthy, however
he does need special attention to his beak which
is a bit on the soft side. He will eat
pellets and nuts but the nuts need to be cracked
for him. He loves sunflower seeds as he can
crack them himself. He also likes pasta and
softer foods. Loves to shred things such as
paper and shredable toys.

for 19 years when her human passed away. She

"Mickey" came to us with a fearful,
distrusting demeanor, however with lots of love
and patience from his foster family has made a
huge turn around. He is fairly quiet for a large
bird. Loves to hang out with the flock or
humans. He has been vet checked and is in good
health. Has a healthy diet and will eat his
pellets as well as pasta, fruits and veggies. He
loves to be misted and get wet. (Good for the
feathers!) He is looking for that special home.

"Caliente & Gwendolynn" are a pair of "bonded"
not breeding Conures, whom are both very sweet and
loving birds. Both like to be handled and are quite
social. They have shared quarters for all their lives
and while they do like each other's company, either
separately or together, they do make great companions.

around quite well. She speaks a bit, saying
'good morning', 'good night' and 'good bird'.

"Ripley" like most Blue Fronts, has a lot
of personality and is quite social. He has a
good diet of pellets, fruit and veggies. His
favorites are scrambled eggs and peanut butter

be healthy. He has a pretty large vocabulary
saying things such as "hello" "hi" "no", "what
are you doing" and more. Ripley actually has a
birthday coming up on May 5th making him 17
years old, but don't let that age fool you, he

"Fred" is a very sweet male. Quite tame and oh

Chimmy does good with a strict routine. He likes to be

"Harley" came to us in pretty bad
shape, completely bare chested with a rather large hole
in his chest. He has healed but continues to wear a
collar as he tends to over preen given the chance. It
may be awhile before he un-learns this behavior. He
really is quite a funny little fellow. Very sweet. Good
health. And a great set of air sacs (lungs).

"Loki" Based on her band and her behavior, female
severe macaw Loki is probably a wild-caught bird. She is
approximately 23 years old, but she may be young enough
to learn a few new tricks. She had not been handled a
lot in recent years and started out very cage aggressive
Her foster family is working with her toward greater
socialization, and thus far she does enjoy being spoken
to and having her head scratched through the bars of her
cage, and she likes to venture out on top of it,
presumably to get a better view of what is going on
around her. Although it is doubtful she ever be a cuddly
bird, Loki will likely come into her own in a home that
has the time and patience to work with her to help her
regain the trust of a human companion. In all
probability, though she may be many months from that,
the right person will find her progress very rewarding.

up nicely and will sit on your hand and hang out. She is the
sister to our next posting, Ricky. They have been brought

"Molki" and "Sasha" both came
to us from California with very little background. Much that
we know is information we have through fostering and testing.
They are DNA females. They are healthy and eat well. They are
absolutely adorable to watch as they love to play together and
with any toys that they can get their little feet and beaks
on. Foster family is working with them as far as handling as
they were a bit skittish but have come a long way. They seem
to love each other so much that we could not bear the thought
of separating them, so Molki and Sasha come as a pair, like
bookends.

plucked and tends to be a very nervous little girl. She has
made a lot of progress with her foster family as far as being

loves to eat her pellets as well as human food.
Kissy is just going to take a lot of TLC and
reassurance. But with the right person, she will be quite
