"Lily" is just about the sweetest bird I
have ever met. She is very handlable and loves
to hang out with you, especially if you can sing
opera!! Lily loves to sing and dance. She has

steal your heart from you. He is gentle, loving

"Pita" is a diamond in the rough and does
need a little coaxing to warm up to you. However
this is a very adorable guy that given the
effort will be a good friend. Pita has been vet

on diet, which will probably correct the bit of
feather damage that he has. He has a great
vocabulary and says things like, "Praise the
Lord", opps and "do you want a beer". Adoption

"Mai Tai" has quite a bit of dance left
in him, so do not be fooled by the age as he
will live to be 60 years or better. He is quite
well mannered and social. He speaks some,

young boy. He is quite social and believe it or
not, quite cuddlable especially for a Macaw. He
does talk. Likes to hang out with his human, go

"Pluto's" age and sex are
unknown at this time. Pluto flew
into previous owner's yard and was
never claimed. Previous owner cared
for Pluto as long as they were able
however circumstances became such
that Pluto was brought to us. Pluto
is a great little bird. Has been
fully vet checked and healthy. Does
seem to be a little "hand- shy"
yet, but with time, love and
patience, we believe this will be
over come. He/ she does have a few
things that he/she says, such as " I
love you" and a few more... . Likes
watching bird documentaries,
dancing. Pluto also likes to travel
in the car and go places with the
human in his/her life. Pluto is
looking for a home where he/she
can flourish and call home.

"Max" is quite the charactor
and do not be fooled by the age, he
is just getting started in life. He
is very social and wants to hang out
with his human, especially at meal
time. If he knows that you are
cooking something, he is all in! He
is quite healthy and has a great
appetite for his own pellets, fruits
and veggies as well . He is water
bottle trained. Vet checked with a
clean bill of health. He has quite
an extensive vocabulary saying
things like, "here kitty kitty" "I'm
a bad bad birdy", "thank you very
much" and much more. Max is ready
for adoption.

companion bird. He vocalizes and
says "Pancho" and "shut up". He is
on a pelleted diet along with fruits

"Vinnie" is a very shy guy however in the
right hands, he will make someone a very nice
companion. He is not loud as most Umbrellas are.
He has been vet checked and is healthy, however
he does need special attention to his beak which
is a bit on the soft side. He will eat
pellets and nuts but the nuts need to be cracked
for him. He loves sunflower seeds as he can
crack them himself. He also likes pasta and
softer foods. Loves to shred things such as
paper and shredable toys.

also an absolute love. She
too cuddles and does seem to
be a little more attached to
Gypsy than Gypsy is to her.

also has a great vocabulary.
She does not like new things
in her cage until she has
acclimated to what it is
that you are putting in. She

you. He is as spry as if he were half that age. He is
absolutely beautiful. He has a good temperament for a

"I'm a Little Parrot Yellow and Green" and "Cool Change"
Chimmy does good with a strict routine. He likes to be
covered at night. He is in great health and vet checked.

"Harley" came to us in pretty bad
shape, completely bare chested with a rather large hole
in his chest. He has healed but continues to wear a
collar as he tends to over preen given the chance. It
may be awhile before he un-learns this behavior. He
really is quite a funny little fellow. Very sweet. Good
health. And a great set of air sacs (lungs).

issues. He is a great bird with a good attitude. He

"Lucy" is a sweet little Amazon who steps
up nicely and will sit on your hand and hang out. She is the
sister to our next posting, Ricky. They have been brought
up together and can be separated, but really do enjoy each

if possible, but will make a great companion in either case.
Lucy has a small vocabulary. She has been vet checked and
found to be in good health.

Quaker Parrots

"Molki" and "Sasha" both came
to us from California with very little background. Much that
we know is information we have through fostering and testing.
They are DNA females. They are healthy and eat well. They are
absolutely adorable to watch as they love to play together and
with any toys that they can get their little feet and beaks
on. Foster family is working with them as far as handling as
they were a bit skittish but have come a long way. They seem
to love each other so much that we could not bear the thought
of separating them, so Molki and Sasha come as a pair, like
bookends.

"Kissy" is a very special case. She is quite
plucked and tends to be a very nervous little girl. She has
made a lot of progress with her foster family as far as being
social and liking to be picked up and cuddled. She likes being
around other birds and in the middle of everything. She has
been vet checked and found to be in good physical health. She
loves to eat her pellets as well as human food.
Kissy is just going to take a lot of TLC and
reassurance. But with the right person, she will be quite
a wonderful pet and very rewarding.

"Nikki" is 8 yrs old, very sweet and mild tempered.
Nikki has been with us for a bit, as she came to us extremely
fearful. She has made a lot of progress and now seems to be

a very rewarding pet. She is fully vet checked and in good health.
A bit of a fussy eater but she does try new things.

Cockatoo, F, approx. 8yrs, is a very special little girl who
loves to sing and dance. She says Hi Gloria! She has been
vet checked and in good health. Gloria had been previously
adopted and came back to us because her adoptive family had
some "life" changes. She is a great bird for the
right person with some experience but does need a lot of TLC.

a very sweet girl but she usually attaches herself to the
male human and has some jealousy issues when a female is in
the scene. Her foster family is working with her on these
issue. An ideal situation for Casper would be a single male,
with some cockatoo experience. She has been vet checked and
in good health. And good eating habits.
